Yane Marques is a modern pentathlete who has competed for Brazil. She competed at the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Summer Olympic Games. She became the first Brazilian and Latin American athlete to ever win an Olympic medal in modern pentathlon when she claimed a bronze in the women's event at London 2012. She was also selected to carry the Brazilian flag during the Rio de Janeiro 2016 opening ceremony.
