Wrestling at the 2008 Summer Olympics was held from 12 to 21 August 2008 at China Agricultural University Gymnasium.
The Olympic wrestling program for 2008 changed, as all wrestlers competed in a single-elimination tournament until the two finalists remained for the gold and silver medals. Those who lost to the finalists from the earlier rounds would wrestle against each other through a Bergvall style repechage tournament to determine the two bronze medalists.
