Wrestling is a category name for the wrestle events at the Olympic Games. It's governed by the United World Wrestling, which was founded in 1912. Although the wrestling has been featured from the first edition in 1896, women have only been allowed to compete since Athens 2004.

United States and Soviet Union are the only two countries with more than 100 medals in wrestling, the Soviet Union having more gold medals, but the United States having more medals in total.
