Volleyball at the 1988 Summer Olympics was held from 17 September to 2 October 1988 at Jamsil Gymnasium, Hanyang University Gymnasium, and Saemaul Sports Hall.

The men's tournament was expanded to twelve teams for the first time in the program since Munich 1972.
