Valentin Aas was a sailboat racer who competed for Norway. He competed at the 1912 Summer Olympic Games. He passed away on 14 August 1961, at the age of 74.
He competed at the yacht racing during Stockholm 1912 in the Norwegian boat Taifun. On the first of two days, the Norwegians immediately caught the Swedish boat Sans Atout, which started first. Despite struggling with the wind around the halfway point, the team was able to recover and take the lead from the Swedes until the end. Defending this lead on the second day, the Norwegians had to leave the lead of the race to the Russian boat Norman. Due to the Russians having a man overboard in the latter half of the race, Taifun was able to retake the lead and the win, also comfortably winning the event.
