Thomas Flemming is a swimmer who has competed for East Germany. He competed at the 1988 Summer Olympic Games. He helped the East German team of Lars Hinneburg, Dirk Richter, and Steffen Zesner snare a podium spot with a bronze in the men's 4x100 metres freestyle relay. He also contributed to the East Germans' runner-up feat in the 4x200 metres freestyle relay by delivering the fastest split of the team (1:48.07) through the third leg of the final race. On the individual side, Flemming landed on the runner-up spot and tenth overall in the B-final of the 200 metres freestyle.
