Thea Lafond has competed for Dominica

Thea Lafond is a track and field athlete who has competed for Dominica. She competed at the 2016, 2020, and 2024 Summer Olympic Games. She became the first athlete from Dominica to ever win an Olympic gold medal when she finished first in the women's triple jump at her third Games in 2024. She was also selected to carry the Dominican flag during the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 opening ceremonies with Dennick Luke.
