Ted Ligety is an alpine skier who has competed for the United States. He competed at the 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2018 Winter Olympic Games. He was the first alpine skier representing the United States to win a gold medal in the combination event. Eight years later, he became the youngest American alpine skier to win gold medals at the Olympic Games.
