Tamirat Tola is a track and field athlete who has competed for Ethiopia.
He competed at the 2016 and 2024 Summer Olympic Games. He became the first Ethiopian runner to win the men's marathon race since Sydney 2000, breaking a new Olympic record time of 2:06:26. He was also a late replacement to the Ethiopian men's marathon team after Sisay Lemma suffered an injury and withdrew from the Games.
