The women's team of Table Tennis 2024 during the 2024 Summer Olympics was held on 5–9 August 2024 in the South Paris Arena. With 16 teams competing, the event was won by the team from China, with Japan taking the silver medal and South Korea taking bronze.
Format[]
The competition exists out of a single head-to-head knockout competition, with each match consisting of two single matches and one doubles match. The first team to win two matches advances to the next round, with the winner of the final winning the event.
Preview[]
Sixteen teams qualified for the event with China as the three-time Olympic champion absolute favorites for the title. Japan seemed to be the frontrunner for the remaining medals, with plenty of medal contenders behind them.
