Swimming at the 2020 Summer Olympics was held from 24 July to 5 August 2021 at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre and Odaiba Marine Park. In comparison to the previous edition, a few events were added to the program: a mixed relay, a men's 800 metres freestyle, and a women's 1500 metres freestyle.
