The Stockholm Stadium (Swedish: Stockholms stadion) is a sports stadium at Norra Djurgården in Stockholm, Sweden. It was inaugurated on 1 June 1912, and acted as the main venue during the 1912 Olympic Games. It was designed by Swedish architect Torben Grut.
In June 1956, it acted as main venue for the 1956 Olympic Summer Games Equestrian competitions following the horse quarantine rules of Australia at the time.[1][2]
It acted as home soil for Djurgårdens IF's men's soccer team until mid 2013. Since 1967, it has also hosted the annual DN-galan track and field athletics competitions.
