Steffi Kräker is a gymnast who has competed for East Germany. She competed at the 1976 and 1980 Summer Olympic Games.
Kräker assisted the East German women to secure the podium spot with a bronze in the team portion at her Olympic debut in 1976. She received the twenty-first highest all-around score in the preliminary stage of the women's artistic gymnastics competition. Because four of her teammates scored higher than hers and only three gymnasts per country were allowed to compete in the all-around, she failed to advance to the final.
Four years later in Moscow, Kräker returned to her second Olympics as the captain of the East German women's gymnastics team with the higher chances of improving her results from Montreal. Apart from repeating a bronze-medal feat with her teammates, she successfully won two individual medals in the apparatus finals, a silver on the vault and a bronze in a three-way tie with Melita Ruhn and Maria Filatova on the uneven bars.
