Steffen Zesner is a swimmer who has competed for East Germany and Germany. He competed at the 1988, 1992, and 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
Zesner started his Olympic career with the East German team in 1988, when he claimed a silver in the 4x200 metres freestyle relay and a bronze in the 4x100 metres freestyle relay. He continued his podium streak as part of the reunified German team by adding a second bronze to his career haul in the 4x100 metres freestyle relay. At his third straight Olympics in 1996, he and his teammates Aimo Heilmann, Christian Keller, and Christian Tröger beat their Australian rivals at the final stretch by less than a full second to take the bronze in the 4x200 metres freestyle relay.
