Speed Skating at the 2018 Winter Olympics was held between 10 and 24 February 2018 at Gangneung Oval. Since the last edition, a mass start event was added (for both sexes), making speed skating the biggest event of the 2018 Winter Olympics. The format of the 500 metres was changed from a two-race to a one-race format.
