Solomon Islands first participated at the Olympic Games in 1984, and has sent athletes to compete in every edition of the Summer Olympic Games since then. Currently, no athlete from the Solomon Islands has ever won a single Olympic medal.
The National Olympic Committee of Solomon Islands was established and duly recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 1983.
