The women's skeet of Shooting 2020 during the 2020 Summer Olympics was held on 25-26 July 2021 in the Asaka Shooting Range. With 29 athletes competing, the event was won by Amber English from United States, with Diana Bacosi from Italy taking the silver medal and Wei Meng from China taking bronze.
Format[]
The competition exists out of two separate rounds. In the qualification, the shooters try to reach a score as high as possible, with the eight athletes with the highest scores qualifying for the second round. In the second round, the athletes compete with the shooter with the lowest score being eliminated. The last competitor standing wins the event.

Twenty-nine athletes qualified for the event with plenty of big names in the field. Diana Bacosi was the reigning world champion and defending Olympic champion and would count as one of the big favorites for the title. Some of her big challengers would include Wei Meng, silver medalist at the world championships and second-ranked in the qualifying world rankings, Amber Hill, leader of the world rankings, and Amber English of the 2018 world rankings. Nadine Messerschmidt, Sutiya Jiewchaloemmit, and Zoya Kravchenko had also proven strong during the qualification period, with Danka Bartekova and Andri Eleftheriou among the potential outsiders for the medals.
