The men's 10 metre air pistol of Shooting 2020 during the 2020 Summer Olympics was held on 24 July 2021 in the Asaka Shooting Range. With 36 athletes competing, the event was won by Javad Foroughi from Iran, with Damir Mikec from Serbia taking the silver medal and Pang Wei from China taking bronze.
Format[]
The competition exists out of two separate rounds. In the qualification, the shooters try to reach a score as high as possible, with the eight athletes with the highest scores qualifying for the second round. In the second round, the athletes compete with the shooter with the lowest score being eliminated. The last competitor standing wins the event.

Thirty-six athletes qualified for the event with Jin Jong-oh as the reigning world champion after a close battle with Artem Chernousov. However, the Indian shooters also proved strong, topping the qualifying rankings with Abhishek Verma and Chaudhary Saurabh, with veterans Javad Foroughi and Pang Wei also not far behind. Other potential outsiders also included Damir Mikec, defending silver medalist Felipe Almeida Wu, Pavlo Korostylov, and Ruslan Lunev.
