Shooting at the 1992 Summer Olympics was held from 26 July to 2 August 1992 at the Mollet del Vallès, featuring a total of thirteen events — seven men's, four women's, and two open to both genders.
For the first and only time in history, a female shooter won a gold medal in an open shotgun event (China's Zhang Shan in the open skeet shooting).
