Shooting at the 1988 Summer Olympics was held from 18 to 24 September 1988 at the Taenung International Shooting Range, featuring a total of thirteen events — seven men's, four women's, and two open to both genders.

This edition marked the first time to include the air pistol shooting events in the Olympic program, as well as the final stage across all events, but the last to feature the 50 metres running target.
