Shooting at the 1976 Summer Olympics was held from 18 to 24 July 1976 at the Olympic Shooting Range in L'Acadie, featuring a total of seven events — all nominally open to both genders.
This edition marked the third time to witness the women compete against the men in all shooting events and the first to have a female sport shooter ascend the Olympic podium.
