Shiva Keshavan is a luger who has competed for India and Independent Olympic Athletes. He competed at the 1998, 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2018 Winter Olympic Games. He was the youngest luger at the 1998 Winter Olympics, as well as the first Indian luger ever to compete. He also became the first Indian athlete to participate at three Winter Olympics (in 2006), as well as a fourth (in 2010) and a fifth time (in 2018). He participated as an Independent Olympic Athlete at the 2014 Winter Olympics, due to a ban of the Indian Olympic Committee. He was also the Indian flag bearer at the opening ceremonies of the 1998, 2002, 2010 and 2018 Winter Olympics, as well as the closing ceremony of the 1998 Winter Olympic Games.
