Shani Davis is a speed skater who has competed for the United States. He competed at the 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2018 Winter Olympic Games. He was the first man to defend an Olympic 1000 metres speed skating title when he won his second title in Vancouver. He was also nominated as flag bearer during Pyeongchang 2018, but Erin Hamlin got the favour of the draw by a mere coin toss.
