Seychelles competed at their first Olympic Games in 1980 and has participated in every Summer Olympics since then, with the exception of 1988 due to the country failing to respond to the invitation. The country has yet to compete at a Winter Olympics. They also have yet to earn a medal.
Their National Olympic Committee was formed in 1979 and recognized the same year by the International Olympic Committee.[1]
