Sergei Ponomarenko is a Russian figure skater who competed at the 1984, 1988 and 1992 Olympic Games. Ponomarenko was partners with Marina Klimova.

Ponomarenko has been married to Klimova since September 1984. They have two children, Tim (b. 1998) and Anthony (b. 01/06/2001) who is a competitive ice dancer in the US.
