Sailing at the 1992 Summer Olympics was held from 27 July to 4 August 1992 at Port Olímpic.
The Olympic sailing program extended its event size to 10 from 8 in Seoul 1988 with the introduction of the women's windsurfing (Lechner A390) and one-person dinghy classes (Europe). For the first time, the combination of fleet racing and match racing was used with the Soling class employing the latter format.
