Ruslan Abbasov is a track and field athlete who has competed for Azerbaijan. He competed at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games.
He competed in the 100 metres in Beijing, finishing fifth in the ninth heat with a time of 10.58. He was ranked 50th in the first round, tied with Holder da Silva, and failed to qualify for the second round by just over a tenth of a second. A fifth place in the heats of the men's 100 metres was the best result of an Azerbaijani athlete ever in the event.
