Rugby Union was introduced during the 1900 Summer Olympics, and it only appeared four times, after being discontinued after Paris 1924. In total, only six nations participated, and all of them have won at least a medal. Two editions of Rugby Union only featured two nations, the other editions featured three participating nations.
