Rozalia Galiyeva is a gymnast who has competed for the Unified Team and Russia. She competed at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympic Games.

Galiyeva arrived at her first Olympics in 1992 with the Unified Team that solidified a gold-medal triumph in the team all-around. She received the eighth highest all-around score in the prelims but the coaches pulled her from the final, citing a knee injury. Her teammate and eventual champion Tatiana Goutsou replaced Galiyeva as the next highest-ranked gymnast from the Unified Team. Sources soon revealed that Galiyeva's knee injury was non-existent and that the substitution was imposed because Goutsou was considered to have worthier medal-winning potential.

The lone returning Olympian from the Unified Team, Galiyeva was elected the captain of the fledgling Russia women's artistic gymnastics team at Atlanta 1996. In the team finals, Galiyeva performed on the floor exercise after Kerri Strug's vault routine that won the gold for the Magnificent Seven. The cheering crowd watched her with more attention than they had her teammates, but the spotlight suddenly faded. The Russian women lost the all-around title to the Magnificent Seven after leading for the initial half of the competition. The situation was repeated two days later in the individual all-around finals. Galiyeva performed her signature routine once again on the floor exercise, and she could not properly hear her music over the deafening cheers from the audience when the American favorite Shannon Miller's impressive routine ended and when the score was flashed.

Galiyeva landed on the seventh overall spot in the all-around final, fulfilling her goal to compete. A balance beam routine seemed comfortable on her to secure an individual medal. Although she started confidently and contended for the gold, she fell on a front somersault near the end of her routine, plummeting her to seventh. She also performed on the vault routine but narrowly missed the podium by seven thousandths of a point margin behind the bronze medalist Gina Gogean.
