Roland Brückner is a gymnast who has competed for East Germany. He competed at the 1976 and 1980 Summer Olympic Games. He is considered one of the most successful male East German gymnasts of all-time, winning a total of five medals throughout his Olympic career (a gold, a silver, and three bronze). He was initially selected on the East German team for Los Angeles 1984 but missed the Games because of the Soviet-led boycott.
