Richard Murray is a triathlete who has competed for South Africa and the Netherlands. He competed at the 2012, 2016, and 2024 Summer Olympic Games. He attempted to qualify for the Dutch team at Tokyo 2020 but a heart condition that required surgery ruled him out of contention.

He is married to four-time Olympic triathlete Rachel Klamer.
