Pont Alexandre III is a deck arch bridge that spans the Seine in Paris. It connects the Champs-Élysées quarter with those of the Invalides and Eiffel Tower. The bridge is widely regarded as the most ornate, extravagant bridge in the city. It has been classified as a French historic monument since 1975.
The venue will host the marathon swimming and triathlon events at the 2024 Summer Olympics. During Olympic competition, a temporary venue with a capacity of 1,500 was constructed. It will also serve as a finish line in the road cycling time trial.
