The Phoenix Snow Park, which is also named Phoenix Pyeongchang (휘닉스 평창) and Bokwang Snow Park is a ski resort outside of the two venue clusters during Pyeongchang 2018. The resort has a total of 22 ski slopes, the second largest number of slopes in South Korea.
It is located 50 km from Pyeongchang, and 75 km from Gangneung, the two main cities of the edition of the Winter Olympic Games. The venue was opened in December 1995, and it hosted the Freestyle Skiing and most of the Snowboarding events, except for the Big Air. The venue had a capacity of 18,000.
