Pang Jiaying is a swimmer who has competed for China. She competed at the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
Pang started her Olympic career with a silver as a member of the Chinese women's team in the 4x200 metres freestyle relay at Athens 2004. When her country hosted the Games in 2008, she edged out Katie Hoff at the final lap to snatch her only individual medal with a bronze and an Asian record (1:55.05) in the 200 metres freestyle. She also recorded the fastest time (53.49) in the semifinals to lead the field in the 100 before she got disqualified for a false start. She redeemed to add two more medals to her haul in the relay races: a silver in the 4x200 metres freestyle relay and a bronze as a freestyle swimmer in the 4x100 metres medley relay.
Pang returned to her third Games in London four years later as a relay-only swimmer, but she and the Chinese women's team missed the podium by more than two seconds in the freestyle relay races.
