Palestine first participated at the Olympic Games in 1996, and has sent athletes to compete in every edition of the Summer Olympic Games since then. Currently, no athlete from Palestine has ever won a single Olympic medal.
Palestine has been duly recognized as a member of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) since 1986, and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) since 1995.[1]
