Pablo Martín Abal is a swimmer who has competed for Argentina. He competed at the 2000 Summer Olympic Games.
In the individual butterfly event at the Olympic Games in Sydney, he swam to a personal record in the heats, despite finishing sixth in the fifth heat, 0.64 seconds behind Stefan Aartsen. He finished as the best Latin American competitor on 28th place out of 63 competing athletes, with only the top 16 advancing to the semifinals. In the medley relay, he was the third Argentinian swimmer to go in the third heat. When he started, the team was almost two seconds behind sixth-placed Spain, but he kept the deficit limited by keeping on par with the Spanish competitor Daniel Morales. Argentina ultimately finished seventh in the third heat on less than a second from the Spanish team, and 18th in total.
