Nunu Abashidze is a track and field athlete who has competed for the Soviet Union.
She competed at the 1980 Summer Olympic Games. She was the youngest of three Soviet athletes to compete in the women's shot put competition in her home nation in the Soviet Union, with Nataliya Akhrimenko only being three days older. With fourteen athletes competing, the competition only existed out of a single final round, in which she started as seventh. Her first throw of 20.74 moved her to third place after the first throw, but she failed in the next three throws, moving down to fourth. Her fifth throw of 20.02 metres was not an improvement, but she reached her best distance in her ultimate attempt, reaching 21.15 metres. She approached the bronze medal but fell short with only five centimetres from Margitta Pufe, taking fourth place in the competition.
