The Netherlands Antilles participated at the Summer Olympic Games from 1952 until 2008. As a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the nation supported the Dutch boycott in Melbourne 1956 and also joined the American-led boycott in Moscow 1980. The Antillean athletes have also attended the Winter Olympic Games twice.

Antillean athletes have won a single medal at the Summer Olympic Games with a silver from sailor Jan Boersma in the men's Division II class at Seoul 1988.

The Netherlands Antilles Olympic Committee was formally established in 1931 and recognized by the International Olympic Committee from 1950 until the nation was dissolved in 2011. At London 2012, athletes from the five islands competed as independent participants under the Olympic flag.
