Mountain Biking is part of the Cycling program, although it's often marked as a separate discipline. It only consists out of two events, with which it is the smallest event in cycling.
France and Switzerland both have won an amount of six medals; France winning four gold, one silver, and one bronze, and Switzerland winning just one gold, three silver, and two bronze. No other countries have won more than three medals in mountain biking.
