Modern Pentathlon at the 2024 Summer Olympics was held from 9 to 11 August 2024 at the North Paris Arena (fencing ranking round) and the Palace of Versailles (all except fencing ranking round).
These Games marked the last time to feature the riding segment in modern pentathlon as a response to the controversy at Tokyo 2020, which saw a German coach ejected from the Games for physically assaulting one of the horses.
For the first time, a semifinal round is added to the competition format to determine the top 18 finalists in each event.
