Minna Aalto has competed for Finland

Minna Aalto is a sailboat racer who has competed for Finland. She competed at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympic Games. At her first Olympic appearance in 1996, she finished 20th in the Mistral competition. In nine races, she received 160 points, and 117 points after subtraction of the two worst results. Even though this was the same as Lucia Martinez, her best result (13th) was lower than the best result of Martinez (12th), and she was placed lower in the final rankings.

Four years later, when she competed as one of the oldest participants (behind Caroll-Ann Alie), her races were less consistent. On one hand, finishing 7th and 9th in several races would allow her for a place in the top 10, while finishing races 20th and 21st would drag her back down. Ending with a disqualification in the last race, she eventually finished in the middle of the field on the 15th place.
