Michael Söderlund is a swimmer who has competed for Sweden. He competed at the 1980, 1984, and 1988 Summer Olympic Games.
Söderlund started his Olympic career with a fourth-place feat as a member of the Swedish men's 4x200 metres freestyle relay team at Moscow 1980, missing the podium by eight tenths of a second (0.8) behind the Brazilians. His foremost individual result happened in the 200 metres backstroke, where he finished sixth in the final.
Four years later in Los Angeles, Söderlund contributed to the Swedish men's bronze-medal feat in the 4x100 metres freestyle relay by swimming through the third leg in the heats. He also placed sixth with the Swedish men's 4x200 metres freestyle relay team and swam through the backstroke leg in the 4x100 metres medley relay heats before Bengt Baron replaced him on the team that finished fifth in the final. On the individual side, Söderlund struggled to find his best form from Moscow in the 200 metres backstroke, only reaching the B-finals.
Söderlund returned as a relay-only swimmer at his third Olympics in 1988, but he and his Swedish men's team repeated their feat from Los Angeles in the 4x200 metres freestyle relay.
