Massimiliano Rosolino is a swimmer who has competed for Italy. He competed at the 1996, 2000, 2004, and 2008 Summer Olympic Games.

After placing sixth twice in 1996, Rosolino was regarded as one of Italy's top swimmers at his second Games four years later in Sydney. There, he set a European record time (3:43.40) to take a silver in the 400 metres freestyle, trailing the winner and home favorite Ian Thorpe by almost three seconds. He also added a bronze in the 200 and blasted a new Olympic record (1:58.98) to claim his first gold in the 200 metres individual medley, clipping 0.93 seconds off a mark set by Attila Czene in Atlanta. With this feat, Rosolino became the second Italian swimmer to win an Olympic gold medal, following Domenico Fioravanti.

Rosolino returned to his third Games in 2004 as the defending champion in the 200 metres individual medley, but he missed the final with an eleventh place time (2:01.29) from the semifinals. He slipped to fifth in the 400 metres freestyle and closed out his third run with a bronze as a member of the Italian men's 4x200 metres freestyle relay team. At his fourth Olympics in 2008, his results faltered as he failed to advance from the heats in the distance freestyle double (200 and 400).
