Marileidy Paulino is a track and field athlete who has competed for Dominican Republic. She competed at the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympic Games. In 2024, she became the first woman from the Dominican Republic to ever win an Olympic gold medal after finishing first in the 400 metres with a new Olympic record time of 48.17. She was also selected to carry the flag for the Dominican Republic during the Paris 2024 opening ceremony with Audrys Nin Reyes.
