María Laura Ábalo is a rower who has competed for Argentina. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
She participated in the women's pair with Gabriela Best in 2012, and they finished fifth and last in the first heat, 15 seconds behind the British winners. In the repechages of the non-qualified boats, they finished sixth to qualify for the B final, 10 seconds behind qualification for the final. In the B final of four boats, Ábalo and Best finished third to take ninth place in the event, in front of Italy. The British boat, who came first in their heat, took the gold medal.
