Lizzy Yarnold is a skeleton rider who has competed for Great Britain.
She competed at the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympic Games. She was chosen to be the flagbearer of Great Britain at both the closing ceremony of the 2014 Winter Olympics and the opening ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympics. She is the first British athlete to have won two (consecutive) gold medals at the Winter Olympics, as well as the first athlete to win two gold medals in the skeleton.
