Lindsey Vonn is an alpine skier who has competed for the United States. She competed at the 2002, 2006, 2010, and 2018 Winter Olympic Games. She had to miss Sochi 2014 due to a severe knee injury. She was the first American woman to win an Olympic gold medal in the downhill event.

She was married to Thomas Vonn until they divorced in 2011, after which she decided to keep the name Vonn.
