Laura Walker is a swimmer who has competed for the United States. She competed at the 1988 Summer Olympic Games.
In the 4x100 metres freestyle relay, Walker almost slipped behind through the third leg with the slowest split time before she handed Dara Torres the anchor duties to strengthen the pace for a podium spot. She and her teammates Mitzi Kremer and Mary Wayte witnessed Torres put on a blazing finish over the Chinese women to keep their medal hopes alive for the bronze by 44-hundredths of a second.
