Lacrosse has only been featured twice at the Olympic Games. It was also featured as a demonstration event three times. Despite appearing during St. Louis 1904 and London 1908, it was a demonstration event during the 1928 Summer Olympics, the 1932 Summer Olympics and the 1948 Summer Olympics.

Canada was the only nation that participated both times, with Great Britain and United States winning silver, in 1904 and 1908, respectively.
