Judo at the 1984 Summer Olympics was held from 4 to 11 August 1984 at the Eagle's Nest Arena.
This edition marked the last Olympics to feature the open class in judo. Moreover, the order of the classes was changed as the tournament started with extra-lightweight, the lightest class, and progressed day-by-day to the heavyweight and open classes on the final days.
